HCS Family Services Junior Board Mission Statement
We are youth dedicated to strengthening the community through awareness, volunteerism, and fundraising in support of HCS Family Services mission.
About the HCS Family Services Junior Board
The HCS Family Services Junior Board is an Auxiliary Board of HCS Family Services consisting of 30-50 high school students from the Western Suburbs of Chicago who work together to promote awareness for HCS Family Services, to volunteer at the pantries located in Hinsdale and Willowbrook, and to plan and create fundraisers to benefit HCS Family Services. Through Board service, members develop valuable leadership and communication skills, and those who meet the membership requirements may proudly list membership on college applications.
Membership Requirements

- Volunteer at one of the pantries 4 times per year
- Volunteer at 4 different HCS Family Services events throughout the year (events include grocery store food collection events, restaurant night-out events, and more!)
